I will commence by addressing this question in general terms and then provide a more detailed response.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a miracle as an extraordinary event that signifies divine intervention in human affairs. Typically, such an extraordinary event defies the laws of physics or the logic of cause and effect. Examples include walking on water or being cured of an incurable disease by drinking holy water. Since both of these examples are either physically or logically impossible, can divine intervention make them happen?
Imagine, for a moment, that you witness someone walking gracefully on the serene waves of a lake. You might not have a camera or your mobile phone at hand, and even if you did manage to record it, the most logical explanation for almost everybody will be that you manipulated the video yourself. Similarly, if your deeply religious aunt miraculously recovers from cataracts after using water from the fountain of Lourdes, the medical establishment would attribute it to the interaction between her medications. You will never gather the necessary proof to demostrate that a miracle has occurred.
On one hand, Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) bear witness that miracles might be an everyday affair. Most of us have encountered events that defied the bounds of possibility in our lives, and typically, we try to convince ourselves that there must be a logical explanation for what occurred.
The spirit realm’s interaction with our material universe and our lives adheres to a predetermined plan that is perpetually disrupted by the influences of free will and malevolent forces. These disruptions often necessitate adjustments that can only be comprehended as miracles.
As numerous NDEs illustrate, and as Plato’s ‘Er’ account in ‘The Republic’ hinted at, we orchestrate our experiences in this earthly existence even before our birth. This orchestration is aimed at affording ourselves and others the opportunities for spiritual growth. It’s essential to recognize that coming to this life requires full immersion in the experience. Consequently, our memories of past lives are wiped clean, along with our knowledge of our mission on Earth and the existence of a spiritual realm.
On the other hand, the field of Quantum Physics has revealed, as exemplified by various versions of the double-slit experiment (as explained in a previous post), that the Universe operates without contradictions. Its very logical construct must harmonize with the reality we encounter, and any information that could disrupt the material Universe’s logical structure is strictly off-limits. Miracles, by their very definition, would introduce incongruities into the logical framework of the material universe, something that cannot be allowed.
Many of us yearn to discover purpose in our existence. In this quest, we seek evidence of the spiritual realm, and this search is an integral facet of our spiritual evolution. Consequently, such proof cannot be easily accessible; it must be both necessary and passionately sought. After all, what passion could be kindled in a search if the answer lay readily within grasp?
Now, let’s reflect on the role of our spiritual guides. Those who have encountered these guides in the afterlife have often received profound insights from them. These ethereal mentors, sometimes referred to as guardian angels, emphasize that there is no preordained destiny; we possess free will, and our choices may diverge significantly from our initial expectations when planning our earthly journey. For this very reason, we require these guides. They intervene, readjusting the circumstances of our reality, whenever necessary, in order to keep us in our due course.
Despite their seemingly limitless mental faculties, which far surpass human imagination, these guides may, at times, fail to predict the trajectory of our lives. Numerous Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) bear witness to the utter astonishment of these guides upon the arrival of the recently deceased in the spiritual realm, as evidenced in cases like Jill D NDE 6151, Pat P NDE 3197 where you’ll even find the perplexing question,”‘What are you doing here?” however, my favourite is “‘I watched over him all the time! I just don’t know how this accident could have happened! It’s the truth, sir!” in Joon O NDE. These unforeseen circumstances compel our guides to effect repairs on the living bodies that once housed the departed souls. In some instances, they even recalibrate the circumstances surrounding the events that led to their passing. These recalibrations of reality, whether minor or monumental, appear as miracles. However, no matter how convinced the NDE experiencer is that their return to life is a miracle, there invariably exists a logical explanation that does not necessitate divine intervention. Crafting such explanations forms an integral part of the manipulations orchestrated by these spiritual guides to facilitate the return of NDE experiencers to the realm of the living. These concrete cases preserved in the NDE archive vividly illustrate the lengths to which divine intervention must remain concealed from the material world.
Anita faced a grim diagnosis as a cancer patient, with mere weeks to live. During her hospital stay, her frail body, ravaged by numerous metastases, succumbed to multiple organ failure, leading to her demise. It was in this dire moment that she encountered spiritual guides who presented her with a choice: to remain in that spirit realm, leaving her earthly vessel behind, or to return to the world of the living. These guides assured her that both choices would be accompanied by entirely logical explanations. If she were to pass, it would be attributed to the organ failure she had already endured. On the other hand, if she opted to rejoin the living, her symptoms would inexplicably vanish within weeks.
Her rapid and complete recovery astounded attending physicians, yet a scientific explanation, that made the whole episode plausible, lay within reach. In the weeks preceding her Near-Death Experience (NDE), Anita had commenced a new course of chemotherapy. Curiously, its effects manifested shortly after her organ failure.
Although her treating physician believed her account, he found himself unable to find any conclusive evidence of this extraordinary occurrence.
Geralyn’s battle with Burkitt’s Lymphoma left her with a one percent chance of survival —a prognosis that didn’t specify the duration of survival, a critical detail often omitted in cancer statistics.
Her condition, a consequence of the extensive damage inflicted upon her young body by the illness, led to her passing during a procedure aimed at extracting a significant portion of her intestines.
However, upon crossing into the spiritual realm, she encountered an authoritative voice urging her return, declaring that she had much yet to accomplish in the world of the living.
Upon her return, a single session of chemotherapy inexplicably eradicated the entire Lymphoma, leaving no trace. While her astounding recovery left medical professionals baffled, a logical, albeit incredibly improbable, explanation was postulated: the chemotherapy, although administered after her NDE, had outstanding effects
Patsy’s case stands as an extreme example. Declared deceased, her body was prepared for autopsy after lying in the morgue for an extended period. It is a well-established medical fact that a brain deprived of oxygen for over four minutes invariably sustains irreversible damage. The only exception are cases of hypothermia, where individuals that drown in icy waters may defy this norm.
Given Patsy’s extended stay in the morgue, no one anticipated her revival, and even less that her brain would be undamaged after her comeback. The logical explanation rests in the notion that she returned to life mere minutes after her declaration of death, subsequently entering a coma until the commencement of autopsy preparations.
Natalie’s case merits attention not only for her miraculous revival, which defies demonstration, but also for her detailed account of the subsequent repairs to her body. She recounts experiences within the spiritual realm, including simulations of potential future lives, designed to gauge the maximum acceptable levels of injury. These exercises served to maintain logical coherence and potentially impart life lessons. The web page provides a concise summary of her NDE, while her book delves comprehensively into her extraordinary encounter, encompassing her miraculous healing and the intricate workings of the spiritual realm
Contemplate the profound intricacies involved in orchestrating one’s life while considering the myriad interactions we engage. Each of these interactions carries meaning, not only for us but also for the individuals we encounter, all of whom, like us, have charted the course of their lives before birth.
To establish even a modicum of predictability in this world, we must diligently avoid contradictions within its logical framework. Predictability assumes paramount importance, especially for spiritual guides tasked with navigating this labyrinthine network of personal interactions to realign our life trajectories. Without predictability, the consequences of divine intervention on our material realm would remain shrouded in uncertainty.
Miracles, as indispensable as they are for guiding us along the rightful path, send ripples through the lives of many—a contradiction that propagates through the world. The only recourse is to construct arguments that refute the occurrence of these miracles.
So, can you implore God, Raman, or your spiritual guides for a miracle? Undoubtedly, you possess this capacity. However, bear in mind that should a miracle transpire and you become certain of it, the proof remains exclusively within your own experience. Furthermore, you must take into account the impact of the miracle you seek on others’ lives, because they have their own life paths to follow. Finally, your life adheres to a pre-established plan and no miracle that alters this plan will be conceded by your spiritual guides.
Given all what I have explained it is hard to know, exactly what to pray for. So I'll tell you what I pray for.
This is what I pray when I feel lost:
Give me the wisdom to know discern the righteous path in each twist of fate, the strength to follow it without hesitation and the courage to face the consequences of my decisions, embracing both triumph and error with a heart open to growth.
However I must say that there is a Zoroastrian mantra that is way shorter and may leed to the same results. A Zoroastrian just tells himself this short mantra over and over:
Good thoughts, good words and good deeds.
